Swing Into September at Harvest Time

This month, we’re looking forward to once again offering a full menu of ministries for children, teens, adults, and seniors. In addition to the safety measures we have implemented for Sunday worship services, we will introduce enhanced safety measures for on-campus ministry to kids and teens. Several important September ministry events are coming up, and we hope to see you on campus again soon!

Back to Church Sunday: September 13th – 8:30, 10:00 & 11:30 am
We’re excited to begin a new season in HTC worship. Our friends, Scott & Katie Troyer, will make their public debut in their new role as our Worship Team Coaches. They will be working with the worship and production teams on a weekly basis, to help invest in the next generation of worship ministers at HTC.

Our friend, Annika Tilly, will also make her debut in her new role as our Worship and Creative Director. Annika will be leading the team on the platform on a weekly basis. We hope you will join us for worship in the sanctuary or on the patio, and encourage the team.

Join us outdoors after each service that day for a Life Group Expo. Explore the broad range of Life Groups and Bible Studies available this fall at HTC. Groups will meet live on and off campus, as well as online.  Find a group that fits you and sign up to be a part.


Tailgate & One Big Foam Party: Wednesday, September 16th at 6:45pm
Pack a picnic supper and join us in the parking lot for some socially distanced fellowship and fun. Stroll up and down the parking lot and visit with friends, join in some lawn games, or make a s’more at the campfire.

Our friend, Allan Houston, will share an encouraging word with our HT Students in the sanctuary, while the kids enjoy a Foam Party on the front lawn. Our teens will finish the night with a teen Foam Party.  Masks are required whenever social distancing is not possible. (Kids and teens are encouraged to bring a change of dry clothes for the ride home!)


Fire In The Night & 21 Days of Fasting and Prayer for America Begins: Friday, September 18
Join us in the sanctuary on Friday the 18th between 6:00 am and midnight for worship and prayer.  Come whenever you can, stay as long as you like. We will be praying for our church, our community, and our nation. This event will also be available on live stream.

Following Fire In The Night, we will begin 21 days of fasting and prayer for America. We will gather in the sanctuary for prayer each morning at 7:00 am. Join us live or via live stream. Daily scriptures and prayer points will also be available online.


HT Kidz, Toddler Nursery, & HT Student Small Groups Resume: Sunday, September 20 at 10:00 am
During the 8:30 & 11:30am services the nurseries will be open for parents to stay with their infants and toddlers. The nurseries are equipped with monitors for viewing the worship service. Two “cry rooms” are also available in the back of the sanctuary.

During the 10:00am service, nursery care will be available for toddlers (walking and up). HT Kidz ministry will be available for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. HT Student Small Groups for junior and senior high school students will also begin.

Additional safety measures will be implemented to protect our kids and adult leaders. Pastor Denise will contact our families with more detailed information about safety protocols and new check-in procedures for kid’s ministry.


Rainbows, Girls' Club, Rangers for Boys, HT Youth, Adult Bible Study and Life Groups Resume: Wednesday, September 23
We’re excited to bring back small groups for boys and girls, ages 3 through 5th Grade. HT Students will resume meeting in the Phase 1 Sanctuary. Pastor Nick Uva will be teaching a Bible study on the Gospel of John in the main sanctuary. A selection of Life Groups will also be offered.

The Return Prayer Gathering: National Mall, Washington DC, Saturday, September 26
Believers from across the United States will meet on the National Mall for a day of repentance and prayer, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. We would like to take a group from HTC to participate live in this historic gathering. We have room for 24 in the HTC Sprinters. The group would leave HTC at 4:00 am and return on the same day, near midnight. If you are interested in attending, please email Pastor Kimmie at .
