Qualities of prayers that get results
Fed by the Word of God
“Prescriptions” and “Descriptions”
Daniel understood:
- Things are not going to stay the way they are right now
- It’s about time that things begin to change right now!
Filled with faith that God has not changed His mind
The impetus for prayer comes when you’re not seeing what He is saying!
Don’t conclude that God has changed His mind!
Fueled by the conviction that I MUST become part of the solution
Even if I wasn’t part of the problem
Even if I won’t get to see the future blessing
Founded on the confession that God has acted consistently with His righteousness.
Don’t blame:
- Unbelievers
- Other believers
- God!
Finished in the confidence that God will now act consistently with His mercy.
“We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy.” (Dan 9:18)
