Breakthrough!
1 Chronicles 14:1-17
As the waters break out, God has broken out against my enemies by my hand. So that place was called Baal Perazim. (1 Chron 14:11)
How our enemy operates:
“Let’s not be outsmarted by our enemy, for we are familiar with his evil schemes” (2 Cor 2:11)
1. When he attacks:
- When I am beginning to see the favor of God falling on us
- When I am beginning to bear fruit
- When I am beginning to make God famous
- When I am beginning to be successful for the sake of His people
- When God’s people are beginning to flow in unity
- When I am beginning to find my way back to His glory
2. Where he attacks:
- At the stronghold of my fear
- At the stronghold of my failures
- At the stronghold of my prolonged frustration
3. How he attacks:
- He attacks back-to-back
- He attacks when we are at the beginning of something big
- He attacks on the heels of our last victory
How God gives breakthrough:
- He gives supernatural certainty
- He gives supernatural strategies
- He gives supernatural strength
- He gives supernatural support
What are the outcomes of the breakthrough battles in my life?
- I learn to seek God’s guidance and blessing in every situation
- My broken places become breakthrough places
So that place was called Baal Perazim [God breaks through]. 1 Chron. 14:11
- God makes me bigger so that I can make Him bigger
