God wants to bring us to full maturity in Christ. Paul worked to that end - to see people made complete. The two ends of our lives, character and gifting, should both look like Jesus. What do we need to come to this point of maturity?

1. We need a person who will lovingly watch over us, such as Paul did for the Colossians.

2. We need the Scriptures to complete us.

3. We need trials to help us become complete, lacking nothing.
